This Full Moon in Leo is the last full moon before eclipse season begins. Full Moons in Leo are always quite “extra” in their energy, but this marks an exceptionally interesting Full Moon as there have been three Full Moons in a row that have been at 13º, marking this Full Moon in 13º Leo the forth Full Moon in this degree. Having said this, we’re wrapping up a narrative that has been going on emotionally and personally for us since November’s Full Moon in Taurus.
This Full Moon in Leo has a rather sweet energy, encouraging us to realign with the collective and the individual, bring up our sense of community as well as our own unique form of individuality. Here’s what you need to know!

This Full Moon in Leo takes place on the 1st of February 2026 at 23.08h CET.
The Sun and the Moon will be in opposition in 13º Aquarius and 13º Leo respectively. The Sun will be accompanied by Mercury in 21º Aquarius, Venus in 19º Aquarius and Mars in 7º Aquarius – all lighly opposing the Moon, too.
What’s the vibe?
Leo & Aquarius
A full moon is always a little bit extra, but Leo’s explosive expression just gives it that extra dramatic “umph” that will give us all a fun, creative vibe for this full moon.
Leo is the star of the zodiac. Ruled by the sun, Leo isn’t afraid to shine and show off its individuality with confidence and pride. Leo knows its worth and will uplift the self-esteem of others around them. Their innate ability of feeling comfortable in their own skin influences others to be a bit more confident themselves.
Leo is filled with passion, creativity and child-like fun, but if navigated poorly, Leo can become arrogant, self-centred, insecure and desperately in need of validation from others.
Leo’s sister sign, Aquarius, is quite the opposite. Aquarius cares about the collective, innovation, social justice and cares for the underdog. It is the visionary of the zodiac whose identity goes outward towards the greater good. Aquarius is able to bridge the current circumstances of the world with a future equitative society which could be easily achieved with community and human values. Besides, Aquarius values raw authenticity, not the status quo.
Funnily enough, Aquarius and Leo both have a God-complex. On one hand, there’s Leo’s contagious self-confidence and, on the other hand, there’s Aquarius’ stubborn vision on how society could be improved and the incompetence of others to do so.

This full moon in Leo is closely opposing the personal planets: Mercury, Venus and Mars in Aquarius. Last Full Moon Before Eclipse Season
This is the last Full Moon before Eclipse Season starts on the 14th of February with the Total Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius.
The Nodes are changing from the Virgo-Pisces axis toward the Leo-Aquarius axis, making us acknowledge the work we must do to align with our purpose and karma on a personal level and a collective level (Leo-Aquarius) after almost a year and a half focusing on our spiritual and emotional depth with the need for structure, organisation and practicality (Virgo-Pisces). So, this is the last Full Moon in Leo that we’ll be able to manifest away whatever we want to shed before the universe takes the reins and sheds things for us.
Last Full Moon at 13º
Since November’s Full Moon in 13 degrees of Taurus, we’ve had three full moons at the same degree – making this Full Moon in Leo the fourth at 13 degrees. The reason why this is significant is because, apart from it being a rare occurence in astrology, it means that we’ve had a consistant narrative since November that has been activating our own personal birth charts at 13 degrees… But that narrative is now coming to a close.
So…?
This Full Moon in Leo encourages us to conjure up our confidence and individuality to unapologetically express ourselves through our art and creativity. It is an invitation to reconnect with our own unique way of showing up to the world in a raw and genuine way with Aquarius’ support and appreciation of raw, quirky individuality.

1. Manifest
As this is the last Full Moon before eclipse season, profit from it by reflecting upon what you’ve learnt over the last four months since the Full Moon in 13º Taurus and think up what is hindering your artistic and authentic self. Name everything you’d like to release and let go of that is no longer serving your genuine and creative expression.
2. Purge through your creativity
Now, Leo is such an exceptionally creative sign… To not use its creative energy would be a mistake! So, this Full Moon in Leo, treat yourself to a little artistic date. Paint, draw, write, dance, sing… Anything that will make you feel free and allow yourself to let go of any energies that are holding you back from expressing yourself authentically.
3. Charge your crystals & cleanse your space
Like all Full Moons, this is a fantastic time to charge and cleanse your crystals. You can put them on by your window or outside overnight so they can be charged with the Full Moon’s light, which we won’t be able to do over eclipse season because of the chaotic and unpredictable energy.
