As the drowsy yet creative energy of Pisces begins to settle as we immerse ourselves deeper and deeper into Pisces season, we’re met with the last Full Moon before the next eclipse season on the Aries-Libra axis.
This Full Moon in Virgo is giving us our last shot at manifesting everything we wish to let go before welcoming whatever we wish to transform and enrich our lives before eclipse season – and here’s where you can read all about it.
Indulging Pisces Season
Pisces season is always undoubtedly the foggiest time for us all. It truly reflects the dreamy, idealistic, intuitive and creative energy we all have, but lose ourselves with its perfectionism, drowsiness and pessimism.
We close off this astrological year with the Chiron-North Node conjunction at 16 degrees of Aries, which makes us come to terms with healing being what we must do but it isn’t the easiest path.
Apart from that, we’ve been living through the heavy Pluto in Aquarius energy since the 20th of January. It intensified over mid-February with Mercury, Venus and Mars transiting Pluto for the first time since entering Aquarius, opening up new doors that encourage us to transform into a new era of our lives and, most of all, our society.
What’s in the stars?
On the 24th of February 2024 at 13.30h CET, the Moon at 5º Virgo opposing the Sun at 5º Pisces. What makes this lunation interesting is the subtle conjunction of Mercury at 2º Pisces and Saturn at 9º Pisces.
As mentioned before, this Full Moon in Virgo is the last full moon in which we can manifest before a month and a half hiatus due to the Aries-Libra eclipse season.

Virgo is the sign that is naturally gifted in analytical thinking – every detail is of utmost importance and decisions must be well-thought through to get the best possible results. Being an Earth sign, Virgo is exceptionally rational yet it’s quirky, chaotic facet as a Mutable sign forces Virgo to be the master categoriser, learning to be organised to bring order to life’s disarray.
However, as much as Virgo can help us detangle our lives to find that no longer sticks and what can truly pull some strings to make your dreams and ambitions come true, too much analytical thought and critical thinking can lead us to have a negative outlook on our progress and our lives.
Mercury

In traditional astrology, Virgo is ruled by Mercury along with the information-obsessed Gemini.
Mercury is the planet of communication and can really give us profound insight into how we express ourselves and how we understand information in our own natal chart.
Mercury in Pisces approaches communication, expression and information in an intuitive manner. There is a lot of emphasis on the profound expression of the subconscious through artistic outlets such as music, poetry and art. It is a placement that claims that feelings demand to be felt and to not feel is to lose the most humane quality we have.
Saturn
Saturn, on the other hand, feels rather misplaced in Pisces.
Saturn is the authorative and ambitious planet in astrology that reinforces the need for structure, determination and dedication in order to achieve long-term commitments. So, when placed in creative, dreamy Pisces – Saturn isn’t quite sure where to start.
Some would say that Saturn in Pisces is a chaotic placement, but truly it is a case of opposites working exceptionally well together. Saturn in Pisces can signify a balance between structure and flow which can result in creative breakthroughs if known how to navigate and can create the solid structure for creative endeavours to materialise.
It also encompasses the divine inner wisdom that roots from our compassion and empathy, two significant Piscean qualities, that can encourage us to set emotional boundaries

What’s the vibe?
Given the influence of Mercury and Saturn, this full moon in Virgo will undoubtedly shed light on the blocks and obstacles that we face in our lives on a spiritual, emotional and subconscious level.
This lunation is a deep awareness of our limits and what is hindering our progress, making us question why we got ourselves into these situations and commitments in the first place. However, it is important to know that if you knew better, you would do better.
This lunation will bless us with a very critical and emotional awareness of our lives as a whole not to reprimand our progress but rather to evaluate what no longer serves a purpose for our lives in the long run. What may have been a promising strategy or mentality no longer serves us or perhaps a relationship no longer serves our growth, perhaps even a job or a project.
Suggestions for the Full Moon in Virgo
1. Reflect

Reflect on what you have begun to question lately and how it serves your current life or your vision for your future. Be as rational as possible in order to have an objective point of view and be as authentic as possible to define what your life no longer needs to commit to. However, do not let your critical eye get the better of you and sink into pessimism.
2. Express gratitude
As much as Full Moons are all about letting go of what no longer serves us, it’s important to write down several things in our lives that we are profoundly grateful for – including those that we are willing to let go of as they have also played a part in who we have become today.
3. Manifest & Let Go
There’s a mistaken assumption in manifesting that we must always manifest what we don’t have in our life (that along with the assumption that manifesting is solely for materialistic things) – yet manifestation is also a portal to release what no longer serves us to welcome the new and innovative in our lives.
If we don’t manifest what we want to leave behind (limiting beliefs, habits, relationships, jobs, etc.) and we continue manifesting for new things to enter our lives, we simply become spiritual hoarders that are confused and overwhelmed with the amount of loose ends that are scattered over the different areas of our lives.
So, profit from Virgo’s critical eye and narrow down those things in your life you’re ready to let go of.
It’s time.
